It’s not every day you’re asked give voice to a brand that’s been around since 1684. Pisco is Peru’s national spirit, and Pisco Portón is it’s finest expression. Of course, I didn’t know doodly-squat about about pisco (Portón, or otherwise) before landing the gig. I quickly caught up on the history and the artisanal distilling techniques. It’s quite possible I did some hands-on research with a bottle or two.
