UNC Military

I’m in a brainstorm with Luis, great designer. We’re banging our heads together over how to convince military folks to chose a North Carolina university for their education. I’m like, “Luis, what do you call those songs they sing when they’re marching together?” “I dunno,” he says. “Cadences?” I start laughing to myself. Always a good sign I’m on to something. I start singing: ” I don’t know but I’ve been told… wait, what if we riffed on those????”
